An old metal gate between pastures near llangaffo, anglesey, wales. Nice sound of metal bending can be used for eerie effects, especially if slowed down substantially and combined with reverb. Recorded with tascam dr-07 mk ii. .

Recorded a guitar being plucked and slowed it down to 0. 1% speed. This creates the nice initial pluck sound. Then copied and resampled the copy and slowed down again by 0. 1% speed, this time preserving the original pitch. This created the ultra-long decay tail. Added eos reverb.

Footsteps on an icy sidewalk recorded in january 2018. Nice crunching walking sound. There is a converted mp3 version available if you can't use m4a or just don't want to mess with the conversion.

While trying to get my microphone to work, it was having this unusual feed back buzzing pulsing sounds. Along with a strange noise. (this wasn't my voice, and the file hasn't been edited. ). "who's there?" and the "hello's" are of course me, trying to get the microphone to work. I decided to record it after i felt it was strange. The sound is of course free to use for whatever you desire, credit if you want and leave a comment below to be nice. :).

This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. The drum station uses analog modeling so the sound is pretty nice. Feel free to use in your productions. There is no need to contact me if you release a track with this sample just enjoy.

Autumn is here and, to me, one of the most soothing of fall sounds is the wind blowing through the leaves of one of my favorite cottonwood tress, along with the lazy, nap-inducing sound of a propeller-driven plane slowly floating through robin-egg blue skies. This recording may sound a bit raw, because of the wind, but, i think it is nice to listen to. This was recorded using my handy zoom h4-n recorder and the microphone that i used is my trusty rode ntg-2 shotgun microphone.

(edit of other recording, with eq, reverb etc. ) recorded inside of an abandoned building next to a boarded-up, old wooden exit door. Has a nice, subtle low hum, which is actually from a plane flying overhead. Also contains knocking sounds, which is most likely the door being a bit loose. Would be awesome for horror atmospheres. Fireworks recorded with mkh50+mkh30 ms stereo couple in sound devices 664 during shooting in birobidjan, russian federation. Recorded on the 4th floor of a building facing other buildings 50 meters in front and on the left in a residential area. Nice acoustics from that specific tall housing configuration.

I recorded stop and go traffic on coldwater canyon one morning on my way to work. Nice variation of traffic that's moving and traffic that's just stopped and idling. Could be used for freeway traffic jams, etc. Recorded with: sound devices 702t, beyer dynamic mc930 mics.

I wanted the sound of a sword being unsheathed so i took a nice zingy metal sword (from hello_flower's sword. Wav) and added a little chunk of wooden click at the beginning (from q. K. 's sword_sheath. Wav). This is my first submitted freesound hope you like it.

Independence day fireworks display, recorded july 2004 in tewksbury, ma. The noise floor on this one is not so good, but there are a fair number of very nice explosions, pops, and whistles. The sound of quad cycles being ridden in the distance is also audible, particularly loudly starting around the 15:00 mark.

A sound that could perhaps be used in a scene where someone is zoning out, or arrives in an alternative universe. Some other uses could be in a sci-fi world, or even a horror scene perhaps. Credits would be nice, but not necessary if you don't want to. :).

Putting magnets on a fridge: in this sound you can hear a person putting magnets on a fridge. You can hear that nice snap when the magnets are close. Recorded using the zoomh4n and the rode ntg1 condenser shotgun microphone. I added a low shelf to try to get rid of some background noise.

I was walking down some enclosed steps in a parking garage and i noticed that the metal handrail made a nice, big ringing-bell sound when i tapped it with my fingers, so i decided to record it. I used this sound in my movie, later that day (although i didn't intend to when i was making the recording). It's very musical - kinda reminds me of 'hells bells' by ac/dc. This is a recording of my stone fireplace burning with a zoom h4n pro. I was burning wet, north carolina lob-lolly pine so that i would end up with a nice, consistent popping sound. Great for any fireplace scene when used at various volume levels. Enjoy!. Christopher c. Courter.

This is static actually coming from my radio but its plugged into the same cord as my tv & they are very close together. So it's actually interference. Also the proximity of my phone gives more sound (ringy static). That really awesome modulating sound is the moment between clicking the on button & the picture coming on the screen. 2nd try was better after i adjusted the tuner a bit.

What you hear is the sound of an old mystic engine, or something else, i donßt know. I made it with audacity. Use it if you want, you don´t have to ask me to. But i would be nice if you tell me, that you used it in something.

This is a sound i came up with while messing around in audacity it sounds like a blow torch to me but what do you think let me know in the comments and like always if you make over 1 million dollars off you aaa game / movie than you share the wealth lol but i would like to know what you use it for that is it credit would be nice but not necessary.

This is something that my on-line teacher has me playing. I took up the guitar again and even though this is a short piece it has a certain beauty to it. It should be played faster, but i think it also sounds nice at this tempo. The recording has a hiss and i don't know why as my recorder is a yamaha pocketrak. I tried editing out the hiss in sound forge but it also took away some of the music sound, so this is it as recorded. Please comment on what you may use it for. Thanks. :^).
